CI Games and Hexworks have re-revealed Lords of the Fallen 2, which is now going to be called The Lords of the Fallen.
Its global marketing campaign begins in Q3 2022, as per CI Games. The action RPG is currently in development at Hexworks.
The fantasy game did pretty well for itself.
The dark fantasy title is CI Games' "largest project to date."
Another shake up means we probably won't see this one for a while still.
CI Games says it will follow a "similar production model" to Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts.
Whether it's their atmosphere, combat or mechanics, these games carry that unmistakeable Souls-like charm.
CI Games says the quality of work was "lower than expected"; Defiant Studios responds.
A new studio is resetting development on the sequel and will use a new engine.
Don't expect it anytime soon though.
Studio lead Marek Tyminski also talks about Deck 13 not being involved.
