Resident Evil: Village
Resident Evil: Village feels like the celebration of the genre’s decades long history. There’s a constant sense of dread pervading every step you take in this wonderfully realized world, but what makes this entry special is the way it effortlessly switches between different shades of horror ranging from survival horror to action horror and much more. It looks great on Xbox Series X, and it also plays really well with solid shooting mechanics and thoughtful encounter designs.
