Psychonauts 2
Psychonauts 2 was one of the most anticipated sequels of recent memory, and developer Double Fine Studios really knocked it out of the park with the game. It really plays well, but fans of the series know that the appeal of the game lies in its wonderfully weird worlds that you get to explore. Each level is brimming with oodles of personality, and you will find tons of interesting details peppered throughout the many worlds that you get to explore – and this attention to detail really makes you want to check out every nook and cranny of this dense world. Double Fine also does a good job of meshing that exploration with a story that feels more personal for series protagonist Raz while also being appropriately high stakes.
