With multiple major publishing labels under their belt – including the likes of Rockstar, 2K Games, and Private Division – Take-Two Interactive are one of the most active companies in the games industry when it comes to churning out new releases, and it seems they have plans to keep that momentum going for the next few years.

During Take-Two’s recent quarterly Q&A with investors, the company’s president Karl Slatoff said that it plans on releasing a total of 93 games before the end of fiscal year 2024-25 (which ends March 31, 2025). Slatoff also provided a detailed breakdown of the nature of many of these releases. Of the 93 games, 63 are described as “core gaming experiences,” 15 of which are ports of older games. Of the remaining 30, 17 are “mid-core or arcade-style experiences” and 13 are “casual experiences.”

47 of the 93 games are new entries in existing properties, while 46 are new intellectual properties. Additionally, of the 93 releases, 72 are planned as console and PC games, seven of which will also be available on mobile devices. Meanwhile, the remaining 21 are exclusively mobile titles. 67 of the 93 games are premium, paid games, and the remaining 26 are free-to-play releases.

Slatoff did say, however, that this is just what Take-Two have on the docket right now. Some of these games might not finish development, while many new games might start development that aren’t being counted right now.

“Note that these figures reflect a snapshot of our current pipeline as it stands today,” he said. “It is likely that some of these title will not be developed to completion and we will undoubtedly be adding new titles to our slate.”

Plenty of Take-Two’s upcoming releases have already been revealed. BioShock, Borderlands, and XCOM ports release for the Switch later this month, while the likes of the Mafia 1 remake, Disintegration, WWE 2K Battlegrounds, PGA Tour 2K21and presumably another NBA game are also coming out this year. A mainline WWE 2K title is also planned for 2021.

BioShock 4 is currently in development, as is Kerbal Space Program 2while new projects are also in the works at newly-formed studio 31st Union and Mafia 3 developers Hangar 13. Recent reports have also indicated that Rockstar are working on Grand Theft Auto 6.
