Over 23 of these will be "immersive core games", of which five have been announced so far. In addition to these, there will also be 9 re-releases/remasters.

Take-Two Interactive is clearly gearing up for a packed production and release schedule over the coming couple of years. In its recent quarterly fiscal report, the parent company of Rockstar, 2K Games, and Private Division revealed tentative details for what its release pipeline until the end of fiscal year 2023-24 will look like, and there’s a lot here.

A total of 62 games are expected to launch from now until the end of FY 24, which ends on March 31, 2024. Of these 62 games, 23 are described as “immersive core” releases, which would be your premium console and PC games. Of these, five have been officially announced so far- NBA 2K22 (which has actually already been out for a couple of months), WWE 2K22 (which launches in March), Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Marvel’s Midnight Suns (which was recently delayed), and Kerbal Space Program 2.

The particularly optimistic fans out there will be hoping that this pipeline also includes the inevitable Grand Theft Auto 6, but with reports talking about development issues and a targeted 2025 launch window, it seems unlikely. Meanwhile, it also looks like that the new IP Mafia developer Hangar 13 had been working on has been cancelled, which means we can safely rule that out as well. A new BioShock game is currently in development, but it remains to be seen just how soon it will be ready.

Another interesting point worth noting that in this three-year period, Take-Two Interactive is currently also planning on releasing 9 “new iterations of previously released titles”- which means re-releases, remasters, or remakes. Of these, the four that have been officially announced so far are Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S version of Grand Theft Auto 5the standalone version of Grand Theft Auto Online, and Kerbal Space Program Enhanced Edition.

Interestingly, recent rumours have claimed that a remaster of the original Red Dead Redemption is also in the works, and series fans will likely be hoping that that is one of the five re-releases that haven’t yet been officially unveiled.

In addition to these, Take-Two Interactive is also planning on releasing four “mid-core” titles, 20 mobile games, and six independent games, of which only one – OlliOlli Worldhas been announced.
