Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake is a role playing game developed by Artdink and Team Asano, and published by Square Enix.
It is a ground-up remake of the original game, built on the engine and using the visual style of Square Enix RPG Octopath Traveler.
Square Enix's RPG sold over 641,000 units on the Nintendo Switch, with the remaining sales coming from the PlayStation side. This only accounts for physical sales.
The RPG sees consistent increases in its player engagement numbers on Steam on its second day, with its peak concurrent user count climbing to over 37,000.
