Babylon’s Fall is an action-adventure game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Square Enix.
It was first unveiled at E3 2018.
The "Special Preliminary Broadcast" will examine the previous two closed beta phases and showcase improvements coming in the third phase.
PlatinumGames details ten major improvements it's made to the game in response to feedback from players up until now.
The beta will be open to players in Japan, Europe, and North America, and applications for it will remain open until October 27.
Feedback from the first phase, including visibility issues due to the art-style, slow action and control issues have also been revealed.
Phase One starts August 5th for North America and August 12th for Europe. It encompasses PC players and focuses more on the technical aspects.
The focus will be on "technical testing" so expect bugs. Producer Yosuke Saito even outright says that "the game won't be in a very enjoyable state."
PlatinumGames' elusive action title is re-revealed at long last, showcasing a new art style, plenty of combat, its world, and much more.
Life is Strange: True Colors, the upcoming Black Panther expansion for Marvel's Avengers and much more will be revealed in the 40 minute showcase.
PlatinumGames and Square Enix's action title was first announced in 2018, but has been almost entirely MIA since then.
The developer looks forward to "showcasing much more" as soon as it can.
More details promised for Summer 2020.
Square Enix's Yosuke Saito added that other projects were in the works.
