Game Overview:
Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a full-fledged remake of the 2006 title Yakuza 2 and is Sega’s second instalment in the Yakuza Kiwami subseries of Yakuza remakes. The game is built on the Dragon Engine, which is the same engine that was used for the development of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a remake of the original Yakuza 2, but also features gameplay enhancements and additions seen in later instalments of the series, while also making some changes to the original game’s narrative to iron out inconsistencies and confusing plot elements.
Ryu Ga Gotoku studio would have no problem in bringing its Yakuza franchise, known as Ryu Ga Gotoku in Japan, to the Switch, if it weren't for the platform's family friendly image in Japan.
